The coastlines on the Across the water map come from Natural Earth (public domain), read through the world-atlas package (ISC licence). They are projected, smoothed and contoured at build time. The rings around the islands are offset distances from the coast: decoration, not depth or current.

Fraunces, DM Mono and Hanken Grotesk, from Google Fonts, under the SIL Open Font Licence 1.1 and self-hosted. Fraunces is pruned to the axes the site uses.
